Podcast Interview with Lauren Lee (@LoLoCoding)

Lauren has a wonderful podcast that showcases the different paths that people have taken to get to their place in tech. I was honored to be on her podcast titled “We Belong Here: Lessons from Unconventional Paths to Tech” in the 39th episode. Lauren was awesome to chat with and honestly didn’t feel like I was getting grilled but rather having a conversation. If you want to take a listen, it’s a fantastic conversation about my path to becoming an iOS developer. Give Lauren a follow while you’re at it!

Jeff Morhous Interview (@JeffMorhous)

Jeff is a CS Student and Software Engineer who reached out to me about doing an interview for him on his blog. I was thrilled at the opportunity as I was fresh into my first couple of months as a developer and offered to share my insight. Jeff was very personable to talk to and it was awesome to chat about my path and journey with him. Check it out at the button below!

Podcast with AppForce1 (Jeroen Leenarts @AppForce1)

Jeroen (AppForce1) and I talk about iOS Dev Happy Hour, motivation, learning to code and becoming a developer during a global pandemic. Jeroen’s podcast was a joy to be on and I’m honored to be part of his growing list of interviewees!

iOS Dev Happy Hour

In September of 2020 Allen Whearry (@codeine_coding) got together a small number of developers got together to hang out, share their experience and stories and get to know each other better. To date, there are now hundreds who gather together to swap stories, learn about new tech and celebrate the wins of new and starting developers. Since Allen’s departure in 2021, he has left the reigns of the event to myself, Mikaela Caron, Alex Silver, Ting Becker and Chris Wu. Definitely check it out if you are new to development or have years under your belt.
